What We’re Grateful For

One of our favorite parts of Turkey Day is the nationwide push to give thanks. We surveyed our team members at Interrupt for their words of gratitude.

A small but important mention: if you’re reading this, you’re probably one of our clients or colleagues. Thank you for your support and collaboration. Your trust enables us to do the work we love with people we love to work with.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Bill Rossiter, CEO

I am grateful for our amazingly talented team that helps our clients’ brands and businesses meet their goals. I am grateful for the culture we create here as a team and the deep respect we have for each (ohhh, and the fun we have together!). I am grateful for my healthy grandson Franco who was born in October. I am grateful for the great client partners we have and how they entrust us with their brands and business success.

Bill Giacci, Account Executive

I'm thankful for the birth of my second child (2 boys! oh my!), and finally finding a home after nearly 5 years of trying to buy.

Troy Hester, Art Director

I’m grateful for the birth of my son William which launched Maddie and I into parenthood. It’s a lot of work and we're both short on sleep, but it’s been worth every minute.

Emily Johnson, Strategic Account Manager

I am thankful to be busy! As a mom, it means I can find joy in the chaos of being present at my daughter’s volleyball and basketball matches or choir concerts, supporting her and watching her grow in the things she loves. And as a strategic account manager, the hustle and dedication of helping my clients successfully plan and reach business goals, allows me to demonstrate that working moms can have the best of both worlds. That’s why I’m thankful for all the “running” I need to do each year.

Krysta Irmen, Senior Project Manager

As cheesy as it may sound, this year I am very grateful for joining the Interrupt team as it has allowed me to be a more present partner and parent. Before coming to Interrupt, I was doing a job I loved but it was 100% remote, very stressful, and the hours were unpredictable which was not great for my mental health or my home life and how I showed up for my family. Admitting it wasn’t easy because I truly loved the work I was doing. However, making the shift, having a place to go where I have made new friends and have a better work life balance has been so huge for me. I’m a happier person overall which means I can be better for the people I love.

Hayley Kandik, Graphic Designer

I’m really grateful for the team we have and the willingness to help mentor one another. I truly feel myself growing as a designer and I don’t think that would be possible without them. Every so often we get on tangents about the different design programs and the ‘did you know you could do this?’ short cuts. I think I’ve learned the most from those small conversations.

Vince Hulett, Digital Media Manager

I am thankful for living in America. The health care systems in place are not perfect but they are some of the best in the world. Our world is raging with war while we have safety and prosperity at home. As Americans, we take many moments for granted and I appreciate the institutions we inherit. My family is safe and healthy. There is nothing more to want in this world.
