SENIOR DIGITAL MEDIA STRATEGIST

Today, it’s hard for brands to separate in the “sea of sameness.” We don’t take the challenge lightly and need this position to step up to help uncover media solutions that set our clients apart. We’re looking for someone who can work through projects at every level, from 50,000 feet to 100, and constantly push new thinking. This role requires a multidisciplinary leader with a solid track record of mentoring a team and engaging the agency to deliver innovative solutions on time, within budget and with the highest quality and performance.

Position Description:

The Senior Digital Media Strategist is responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans for various media channels to effectively reach and engage a target audience. The role involves understanding client objectives, analyzing marketing trends, and identifying the most appropriate media platforms to deliver the desired results. The Senior Digital Media Strategist main goal is to develop and execute a media plan that will help the client reach and drive actions of its target audience via the most effective media channels

Accountabilities:

  • Lead the creation, planning, organization and implementation of media processes & best practices within the agency
  • Work with the Director of Digital Services to develop digital strategies for Interrupt clients and help educate the agency, including account services and creative teams
  • Support digital strategies related to, but not limited to Paid Search Marketing, Display Advertising, Trade Media, Search Engine Optimization, Email Marketing, Marketing Automation, and Account Based Marketing
  • Influence the use of analytics reporting and work with Digital Media Manager(s) to develop insights on our client’s digital performance to goals and recommend changes and optimizations in digital marketing direction
  • Constantly identifying new digital engagement trends that will help push Interrupt’s and our client’s thinking and the performance of our digital strategies
  • Identify gaps or opportunities for additional digital-related solutions
  • Maintain a client-facing role, supporting and communicating across client stakeholders
  • Develop thought leadership and content marketing for blogs, website, webinars and conferences
  • Support the Director of Digital Services with proposals and presentations development, including presentations to clients
  • Own key relationships with third-party partners, and provide ongoing assessment of relationships
  • Support the digital process and provide ongoing training and guidance within Interrupt
  • Manages multiple key digital projects and initiatives simultaneously including project management and strategic direction
  • Synthesizes team's work to create deliverables, including reports, spreadsheets, presentations, dashboards, and other outputs to document and communicate findings
  • Support the company’s overall mission and follow all standards, policies, procedures, and confidentiality guidelines

Requirements:

  • Practical experience in digital marketing strategy and analytical areas of study
  • 8+ years’ experience in digital strategy
  • Ability to work within our culture and a team environment is essential
  • Team player with the confidence and integrity to earn client and internal team confidence
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel as necessary (approx. 5-15%)
  • It is preferred that this position work full time in Sylvania, Ohio; Remote or hybrid arrangements may be considered for highly qualified candidates
